LUBRIPLATE #78 is enriched with additives that provide the lubricated surfaces with a tough protective film, provide protection against corrosion and reduce oxidation and sludge deposits.
LUBRIPLATE #78 is a tried and tested lubricating oil for use in Manzel lubricating systems for A-B cookers and sterilizers and similar applications where high humidity prevails where the lubricating oil despite adverse conditions must ensure a reliable lubricating film for bearings, rotors and valves. Normal operating temperatures in these cookers go up to 255°F/124°C. Even under these constant temperatures, this lubricating oil ensures reliable lubrication without the lubricating film becoming excessively thick.
Although LUBRIPLATE #78 is specifically designed for the above application, there are many other applications where a product of this type can be useful.
